The Art of Casting

Lost-wax bronze techniques, hand-turned century timber, and microcrystalline wax finishing.

Phase 01

Wax Carving & Investment

Every casting begins with a full-scale wax positive, meticulously sculpted and hollowed by hand. Ceramic slurry coats the wax in successive layers over seven days to construct a thermal shell resistant to explosive vapor pressure.

Phase 02

Foundry Pouring & De-vesting

Molten silicon bronze is brought to liquid incandescence at 1,150°C and gravity-poured in an unbroken stream. After cooling, the ceramic shell is carefully chiseled away to liberate the raw bronze skeleton.

Phase 03

Chemical Patination & Wax Seal

Using blowtorches and mineral salts, our patina master cooks subtle charcoal, emerald, and amber hues directly into the surface alloy. The work is sealed with warm carnauba and microcrystalline wax for heirloom preservation.
